About Me
Welcome! I’m Kristen, a writer and narrative designer who thrives on exploring complex character dynamics and building imaginative interactive worlds.
With over five years of experience in Film & TV, at studios such as Universal Television, Castle Rock Entertainment, and Animal Logic, and on networks such as Showtime and SyFy, I bring an adaptable, collaborative voice to any writers’ room.
My education includes The Narrative Department’s Masterclasses I and II, as well as honors in screenwriting at the University of Michigan. I’ve applied this education in feature films, TV pitches, and interactive media, such as the text-based horror game, Indigo Ridge.
My strong writing foundation has grown to put the player at the forefront, to equip them with settings, scenarios, and choices to author their own stories. I relish creating immersive dialogue and impactful branching narratives to enhance these players’ experiences.
Here you’ll find my resume and portfolio for game writing and narrative design—I am currently seeking a writing or narrative design position for a story-rich game. While I reside in Los Angeles, I’m eager to write anywhere with a keyboard, and am open to relocation.
For game writing and narrative design opportunities, please reach out to me directly on LinkedIn or email and we’ll see how we can collaborate!
For inquiries about Film & TV projects, I am represented by Angela Dallas & Darian Lanzetta at CAA and Noah Rosen at Writ Large.
